I've never been satisfied by the simple, one dimensional Left Right political spectrum.
Apparently, the populist movement is on the right, but wasn't the fall of the roman empire something to do with conservatives fighting populists?
I like to think of political ideology having an up and down component too, with the.. ahem... less intelligent... further down.
Here's a slightly different version, I've added dogs, capitalists, atheists and skynet, also changed top and bottom to up and down so it sounds less sexual:
