Book Review: All These Worlds (Bobiverse Book 3) by Dennis E Taylor

This is the third book in the Bobiverse series.

It's a very smooth continuation of the story, but at the same time, really ups the stakes in terms of what the Bobs are fighting for.

The story mainly focuses on the Others, a very advanced hive-type creature with a very simple remit - to plunder and eat, everything, and everyone.

In the course of this story, we meet another race, the Pavs, that stand directly in the way of the Others' path of destruction.

And, eventually, the remaining humans are also very much in jeopardy.

I can't say much more than that without spoiling it, but the ability to describe a space battle in real time has become very much a trademark of Dennis Taylor's writing. And the entire conflict, along with it's very satisfying ending, is played out as brilliantly as you'd expect.

There are other interesting arcs too, the affair with Bridgette and the questions it raises about the ethics of preserving our personalities, and how others might react, is very evocative.
