I was asked to create something around the theme of mental health for the YMCA, it was the first time I'd drawn anything non-digital in a very long time, nearly 20 years, and I didn't prepare at all, so ended up just sketching something quite complex in pencil and didn't have a chance to start painting it.
I think it's a statement about the chronic and acute nature of mental illness, as depicted by various species of insect, but interpret how you want 😄
